Born in New York, John Galasso is a true example of a leading
American. With studies in civil engineering and criminal
justice, he joined the New York Police Department in 1986
and achieved much success. Along his career, honors for
his accomplishments as a dedicated member of the NYPD are
acknowledged by numerous medals and awards. They include
medals of excellence in performing police duties, meritorious
police duties, Commendations and the Medal of Valor. He
is also acknowledged Nationally and awarded with numerous
certificates of appreciation from the Drug Enforcement Administration.
In addition to his years of uniformed duties and plain clothes
duties in the roughest areas of New York City, John was
selected for the Internal Affairs Bureau as a Sergeant Investigator,
where he was assigned to investigate members of the NYPD
who were alleged to have committed crimes. He was allocated
to the NYPD Organizes Crime Investigation Division as a
supervisor of a joint NYPD-DEA team assigned to investigate
major narcotic organizations worldwide. His unit was responsible
for arresting hundreds of the most violent leaders of drug
organizations from the United States, Colombia, Panama,
Mexico, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Jamaica,
Europe, and other countries. His unit seized thousands of
kilos of cocaine, heroin, marijuana, ecstasy, ketamene,
illegal steroids, and angel dust.
Furthermore, his field of expertise consists of counter
terrorism, international narcotics trafficking, security
surveillance, corporate security, credit card fraudulence
and much more. Recently, he was a supervisor of a joint
terrorism task force that collaborated with the investigations
of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 and the anthrax
cases amongst many others. John was also a Supervisor in
charge of the domestic terrorism unit of New York City,
which investigated thousands of other terrorist threats
and cases. Approaching his retirement from NYPD, he refused
to give up his passion of protecting the society, thus Empire
Security Consultants Corporation was born.
Awards:

suspect in a shoot-out.
- Numerous Medals (over 40) for Excellent Police Duty,
Meritorious Police Duty, Commendations.
- Numerous Certificates of Appreciation from the Drug
Enforcement Administration, for Excellent Case work.
- Certificate of Appreciation from the NYPD Organized
Crime Control Bureau for the largest single seizure
of Cocaine in the Organized Crime Investigations Division
History.
- Attendance Award for not reporting sick for over ten
consecutive years and numerous annual attendance awards
for not going sick.
